Descriptif
This module aims to put in perspective the value added of agile and continuous improvement methods and tools. As all company are implementing agile and continuous improvement initiatives and actions, it important to focus more in detailed on what is behind a continuous improvement or agile project.
Objectifs pédagogiques
- Understand the objectives and stakes of a continuous improvement project or agile step
Know where continuous improvement projects can be implemented, by who, with what means, resources, time needed. Understand the differences between project management and continuous improvement project management. Be able to identify results and leverages around company projects or action plans.
- Know the tools and methods of continuous improvement project and agile step
Most of the tools around continuous improvement project or agile step are simple but it is important to have a global understanding of those tools and moreover to be able to facilitate, apply, use those tools on your future job. Practical and easy to use, the tool box around continuous improvement is a must-have in a supply chain management position.
- Know the key principles of a successful continuous improvement project and agile project
Key factors will be the importance of Kaizen rule, the respect of the methodology, the importance of the approach in the global strategy of the enterprise. In the centre of the method, the importance of people, communication, bottom-up and top-down communication are necessary to the right implementation.
- Be able to facilitate a continuous improvement project or an agile project
As soon as the three first objectives are validated, the application around serious game, case studies will enable you to gain the ‘know-how’ of the methodology. Course discussion and debate around industrial examples will also be an important input to have a global overview of the key to facilitate your own continuous improvement project in the future.

- Problem Solving Approach PHASE 1 : “The problem”
- Associated tools : multi-functional teams, WWWWWH, collecting data sheet, Pareto diagram, SMART objective, visual communication
- Case study define the problem, your objective as a team and create the communication board of your project

- Use the AIRBUS Practical Problem Solving Form to solve a simple problem situation
