Objectifs pédagogiques
By the end of the module, the student should be able:
• Know the different steps to achieve a sheet forming Finite Element Analysis (FEA) with PAM-STAMP®
• Analyze a FEA model results and investigate the part deffects
• Understand the influence of the sheet geometry, mechanical properties and main process parameters (blank-holder force, drawbead force) on geometry, strain (Forming Limit Diagram), stress state and springback of the final part
• Use a sheet forming FEA to evaluate the process capabality to produce a structural or fairing part
