Objectifs pédagogiques
Surface treatments are, for metal parts, the last step in the manufacture of a part and allow conferring specific surface properties.
By the end of this module, you should be able to:
- Know the main surface treatments used in the aeronautics field (degreasing, pickling, anodic oxidation,...) associated with the desired properties (improved corrosion resistance, adhesion of paint, etc...)
- Master the effect of surface treatments on improving the part life under mechanical and environmental loads.
