Objectifs pédagogiques
Manufacturing process simulation is used increasingly to reduce development cost by minimizing trial and error iterations. It is particularly beneficial for LCM processes to optimize vent and injection port location and simulate filling as well as curing and thermal effects. This module will familiarize students to using an industry-oriented simulation code for RTM/LCM processes. This will include a general presentation of the software and its application, some practice on simple simulation cases and a mini project on a complex shape part.
