Undestanding the concepts of Supply Chain and Supply Chain Management.
Learning the basics of materials management and knowing the main techniques of Supply Chain Management.
Objectifs pédagogiques
Course 1.1 : Materials Management
- Have a big picture of a supply chain from the life cycle perspective, as well as of the physical and information flows across the supply chain
- Understand the factors that impact materials management and be able to design an inventory management system
- Understand the importance of planning and the new challenges in materials management in a closed-loop supply chain
- Understand some modern materials management collaborative techniques that enable supply chain partners to achieve optimal levels of efficiency and agility
Course 1.2 : Basics of Supply Chain Management (CPIM Part 1 certification)
- Be able to recognize the different elements of the supply chain and to identify the 4 flows of the supply chain
- Understand resource planning and inventory management in order to reduce costs
- Be able to identify other sources of flows optimisation
- Be ready to get the CPIM credential
