This teaching unit addresses various concerns related to the business world: governance, financial tools, organization, business strategy as well as information systems.
It also addresses the aspects related to working in a multicultural team and raises the ethical problems that can be associated with the work of an engineer in a context of globalization.
This teaching unit includes three modules:
-Initiation to the business world -Enterprise modeling and information systems -Engineering ethics and intercultural communication
At the end of this teaching unit, learners will be able to:
-work in a multicultural team, taking into account the sensitivities linked to the culture of each employee. -use their critical mind in ethically sensitive professional situations. -Know how to model an organization and its business processes in order to communicate, criticize and improve.
-Know how to implement an information system to support the organization's information flows. -Use the governance tools of a company and know the financial aspects (budgets, cost calculation, performance reports ...)
